spring boot - what is the difference between netflix zuul server and netflix eureka server? -


i have created 2 java spring-boot micro services 1) producer 2) consumer , have used spring eureka server service registration , discovery . worked fine . use of netflix zuul.

typically backend services perform server side business operations (i.e. core) not exposed publicly due many reasons. shielded gateway layer serves reverse-proxy. netflix zuul serves gateway layer gives capabilities mentioned @apollo , here
