Eclipse - cannot add new connection -


i'm using eclipse 4.7.0. , use run c/c++ remote application launch programs on remote machine (embedded system). using while , worked well.

however, today couldn't connect, prompted password (which didn't happen before) , after connection refused saying no password provided (while saved). verified can connect through ssh.

then removed connection, when tried create again couldn't, filled new connection wizard window when click finish nothing happens, connection not created.

any ideas how solve this?

hmm, ok solved myself. restarting eclipse changed nothing, rebooting pc helped. still don't know caused problem, suppose outside eclipe. nice error message eclipse wrong.
