Using Photoshop JavaScript Macro to make ajax call or similar -

this might not right place this. however, in process of doing system redesign 1 our weekly projects. project involves processing images through photoshop in have 2 files making macro; .jsx , action set .atn. macro makes images passed through same size , saves them out specific directory. 1 of problems have knowing photos have , have not processed yet without manually checking changes come in syncing process done earlier.

i thinking of way use ajax call or similar contact our local web server make update in database marking given file "processed" have easier time keeping track of work needs done.

i've been doing little bit of reading , far seems it's not possible , no 1 talking it. before give up, wanted ask guys if know of ways idea possible or if should move on figuring out solution.
