Excel Pivot Chart -


i have table includes (among other things) month, state, , dollars. can pivot table months in rows, states in columns, , dollars in values. comparing (among other things) several different dollar categories, $a, $b, , $c. when attempt chart them, however, totals each state. ga has a,b,and c, tn has a,b,and c, etc. end goal slice states, want total a, total b, , total c whichever states selected. help?

i think did changing order of values/states across columns states below $ types, grouping states, , importantly collapsing groups. seems working, i'll follow if have problems.
