jMeter java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: File example.csv must exist and be readable -

i updated jmeter 2.9 3.2 , having issues old test cases. when open .jmx file jmeter 2.9 tests runs smoothly, when using version 3.2 same location message: file jmeter-results.xml exists, want do? append existing file - don't start - overwrite existing file. doesn't matter choose, doesn't work.

  1. if talking warning:

    jmeter file exists

it enhancement introduced in jmeter 3.2 within bounds of issue 58164. remove listeners test plan , warning go away. don't need have listeners they create overhead , may ruin test, consider storing test result .jtl result file using -l command-line argument instead.

  2. looking line:

    2017-07-30 14:29:57,918 info o.a.j.s.fileserver: stored: testdata/test.csv

you forgot copy test.csv file new jmeter installation

    • go jmeter 3.2 "bin" folder
    • create folder testdata there
    • copy test.csv file testdata folder

or use absolute path test.csv file.
