r - Having issues with finding the centroid and covariance matrix used in the mvoutlier function -


i trying find centroid , covariance matrix used mvoutlier calculate mahalanobis distance. when try calculate mahalanobis distance myself not line results mvoutlier. mahalanobis distances vary based on value alpha plugged mvoutlier. there function in mvoutlier package generate these 2 things or there way?
