git - Github Push Not Appearing As Contribution -


could please guide me on whether due incorrect settings or else.

whenever push changes github desktop gui app, not appear contribution on profile. if take same code , paste github via web browser appears contribution.

how make desktop pushes appear contribution well?

1- commits pushed on branch other master may not appear in contributions.

2- forgot commit before pushing.

3- author's email set spelling mistake.
there how fix previous commits if it's third option: change git email previous commits
