Column formatting directive string in Kendo Grid / Angular 2+ -


i've seen examples of using string tell kendo column how format data. see here - http://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/grid/api/columncomponent/#toc-format. i'm wondering if there's documentation on these strings, haven't been able find anything. specifically, need able change currency symbol depending on incoming data. dates need javascript date objects in order formatted?
